In Alan Chapell's own words, "More than ever, people want to feel like they genuinely belong to something. It's similar to how you go to church or yoga or whatever you do with a group of people in order to feel a certain thing. For Chapell, “the goal is always to draw inspiration from the collective whether it's during a more intimate solo concert with my entire five-piece band. I want to bring feeling of hope while we have a great time with you!"

He works his mesmerizing magic in his Drive track. “Who’s gonna drive the horse tonight?soothing rhythms of the finger-plucked acoustic guitar and Chapell’s fascinating vocal work. There’s an introspection and intimacy in his vocal delivery that totally draws me in. In to him. Or in to deeper parts of me. As I keep bopping to it, there is a delightful fluttering of violin. Then soft, muted touches on the piano are sprinkled into the textures. The features of the instrumentation add a quietly dazzling vulnerability and movement, yet the anchoring of the acoustic guitar and the steady percussion beats keep the ambiance rooted in its flavors.
